To tell you a bit about myself and personal life, I am the very proud mother of 2 children...Emily, and Jamie. I enjoy boating, fishing, crafts, home remodeling, and gardening.
My personal goal in my industry is to continue to strive to offer my clients the best service that I can perform. I learn something new everyday, and am always excited about offering new looks and trends for my clientele.

My career began as a shampoo girl at the age of 14, with a dream of becoming the best hair stylist I could be. I entered "Vogue Institute of Beauty Culture" while still in high school, and by the age of 17, I received my cosmetology license. Since that time, I have worked in only 2 salons. I spent 8 years in the west end of Richmond, and 26 years working under the direction of Laura Funkhouser and co-owner of Laura D's, Debbie Adkins. What a wonderful place to spend my time. My personal credentials include being awarded "Hairdresser of the Year", Educator for Tressa International, Platform Artist, and in-salon Educator. I am multi-versed in every aspect of our industry, and am considered to be highly specialized in technical coloring techniques. Other unique features of my skill include expert use of the "electric comb", razor cuts, and exceptional ability to choose the appropriate style to suit my clients needs and desires. I look forward to being challenged!
